Director, Producer Rebecca Dreyfus, is an award-winning filmmaker, with a reputation for revealing complex truth with a delicate touch. Her most recent work ON MEDITATION is a series about notable personalities and their meditation practices which includes David Lynch, Giancarlo Esposito, Congressman Tim Ryan and others.  ON MEDITATION premiered on PBS and is currently streaming on Netflix.  Rebecca has created numerous other films and works for television including CLOSE-UP:  PHOTOGRAPHERS AT WORK for OVATION TV, STOLEN a feature documentary about the largest unsolved art heist in American History which opened to critical acclaim in 50 cities nation wide and was included in PBS series Independent Lens and Bye-Bye Babushka, an award winning feature documentary which has been broadcast in more than 50 countries worldwide including PBS in the US. The legendary documentarian Albert Maysles deemed Bye-Bye Babushka  “a formidable first feature” and offered his support. He became the lead cameraman on STOLEN and an important mentor to Rebecca.
Rebecca is a proud alum of The Sundance screenwriting lab and has received numerous other grants and fellowship from institutes such as The New York State Council on the Arts, New York Foundation for the Arts, The Jerome Foundation and Women in Film.  She is the co-owner Snapdragon Films, a successful commercial production company, which creates works for major national brands, non-profits and networks.

Rebecca is currently developing a fiction film entitled MEN which has been placed in numerous screenplay competitions including Slamdance, Screencraft, and Blue Cat. Most Recently MEN was selected by Francis Ford Coppola as a finalist in the prestigious Zoetrope screenplay competition.
